One of the best sequences in this video, when they're all flying and playing among the clouds, are the exact movements used by the Pegasus family in Disney's original Fantasia. It's a beautiful nod to such a classic work. Oh, and when the little ponies rise into the night, could be seen as a tribute to the Chernabog sequence when he's summoning the spirits.

As someone returning to watch MLP, I was desperate to find this video since this was one of my favs when I was a kid, I'm glad my best friend told me abt this accidentally and I'm so thankful she did... I was so innocent back then and watching this now hits different now that I've grown... Leaving Princess Luna to carry out the responsibilities of her ponies and kingdom rising and setting the sun and moon, even looking out for danger in the land of Equestria for thousands of years.
